Will I be able to double check my rear thrust bearing install by removing the oil pan?

I have the engine out for some shifter part development and to swap headers, I have never run the engine yet, am paranoid I installed the thrust bearing backwards and want to double check. I think I should be able to see with just the pan off, maybe the windage tray. I have a USB portal cam I can go in there with... And a $$$ one I could borrow from work.

Should be able to check it out. I think i'm out of TTY main cap bolts.

You can pull the main cap it's under and look without hurting anything. just torque it back down and you'll be fine

You can measure TTY bolt for stretch to check fro re-use. I know it's not popular with the "disposable" bolt crowd but there are specs to check this with.

Do you think that one cap will be removable with all of the side bolts tight except the ones on that particular cap?

I believe I have the spare main bolts, just need 2x side bolts.

You may need to loosed the side bolts on the two adjacent caps, I would be more concerned with getting the cap back in than it coming out with those cross bolts tight.
