One of the guys at work has been working on putting this truck together for a couple of years. He finally got it to the point that he could take it down to Myrtle Beach last weekend for a show.

Saturday night it was stolen from the Anderson hotel parking deck.
If anyone spots it please let me know and call 911.

Man this sucks to hear. Sorry for your friends loss.

Check the highways to Mexico. If it isn't there yet, it's probably headed that way.

I figure there's atleast one chop shop in Myrtle considering the number of shows they have down there.

That sucks man I live
In myrtle I'll keep an eye out for it

WOW! I never thought I'd be making this post. Kenny got his truck back yesterday. It was found in Florence, SC. The guy has been driving it this entire time. Amazingly enough it's pretty much intact. They sold off the rims/tires, his Edelbrock carb, the radio head unit. The rear bumper is missing and the lower corner of the bed is bent behind the rear wheel along with a dent in the front fender on the same side. It almost looks like they were doing donuts and hit something.

The interior was just full of junk and the bed has parts of other cars that the guy stole and tore apart. Kenny asked the Sheriff's what he was supposed to do with all that stuff and they told him "It's yours" lol.

He never took the settlement from the insurance because they offered him some stupid low amount for it because he didn't it insured to cover the mods/restoration so it's still his truck. He was going to keep it when he first got the call but now that he's taken possession of it he is going to sell it, it's tainted.

Plus he's already built his new truck

Apparently when they were taking the thief to jail he kept claiming "yeah those other cars are stolen but that truck is mine" LOL. He musta really liked it. Plus all the other stolen cars had their engines removed.

Yep. he couldn't get it in the shop yesterday so it's going in on Saturday to change out the wheel/tire combo and to try to get it fired.

At least he got it back, great to hear. And at least the thief was smart enough to get rid of that Edelbrock (junk) carb your buddy had on it. Lol

I hope he put a hidden switch in it. Those old trucks are pretty easy to steal otherwise.

Amazing, almost a year later and they found it. That's almost unheard of! While I've never had a vehicle stolen (fortunately) I have heard from others that even once it's recovered it's just never the same and it feels wrong to drive it again. Glad he got another truck built.

Yeah, I haven't had a chance to talk to him yet today to see if they got it fired up but the whole tainted thing is a real feeling. Its not even my truck and I could feel it when I was checking it out.

Really? Well he must be the only person I've ever heard of that liked them. And if he knows how to make them run right then.....:worship:

:allhail:

Lol...takes all kinds right?
