I tried posting here once before, didn't see much of a response, I'm moving to Myrtle Beach area in June, just trying to find out what the local scene is like, any mustang clubs, good places to hit on a friday/saturday night? any input would be appreciated, I haven't really been able to find much information on the web about car scene out there. Thanks in advance!!

Well at least you will be around for Mustang Week in July .. Check out South Carolina Wild Horses .. They might have some members in that area .. I run with some of them in Columbia ..

March will be the start of the tourist coming to Myrtle Beach, there is alot to do down there during the warmer months. As far as the cold season its a ghost town... You might want to send Surfstang2020 a pm he lives in that area he might be able to give you some better information since he is a local in that area..

great, again thanks a ton for all the info guys! its funny you guys say cold season, thats half the reason we are moving there lol, "cold season" there is nothing like "cold season" here in the Denver area, I'll shoot a PM to surfstang as time gets closer to us haulin stuff out there! how many of you guys been to mustang week before? is it out of control? we have something similar here in CO, its called RMMR (Rocky Mountain Mustang Roundup) but its only a 3 day event, usually gets about 300-400 stangs, I'm gonna guess Mustang Week is probably bigger

I have been the past two years and it gets better every year that I go. Can't wait to see the turn out this year. I forgot how many Mustangs they said were at the car show on friday and saturday last year

I have been a few years in a row, like yz85rider2002 mentioned it gets bigger and bigger each year. Its a whole week of Mustang fun, from burnout contest to drag racing followed by a huge car show.. Last year there over 400 cars in the show, I had heard there were about 2500 Mustangs in the area.. so that tells you what kinda of attention MW week draws..

Thats for sure man.. Stangs everywhere.. Saturday at the mall was crazy you couldnt even find a spot to park..

I know right. Our crew parked...Well crap I don't even know how to explain it. LOL We were facing the main road where everyone videos people doing burn outs and Hauling a$$.
