Over the Summer we at JDM Engineering put a built Ford Racing 9.5:1 Compression Aluminator longblock in our customer Jason Osborne's 2012 RS3 Roush. Jason had our Stage 4 kit along with Ford Racing twin bore 65mm Throttle body and Kooks Longtube headers. The car made 561 RWHP on a Street 93 octane JDM custom tune. Jason was happy with the upgrades but wanted more! :bang:

Thats when we decided on the Ford Racing M-6007-A50SC Aluminator 5.0L 4-Valve, also changing to a 69mm Supercharger pulley, the new Roush Cold air intake and a custom JDM fuel system. The Fuel system was tricky but its composed of mostly factory Ford parts and looks completely stock from the underside. We started with a fuel tank from a 2009 Mustang GT. Its a direct swap and allows us to house 07-10 GT500 style fuel pumps. We suited the car with those. We modified the top hat to accept a return line and ran a 2nd factory fuel line as the return line underneath the car. This way it looks and fits just like stock, instead of one fuel line under neath the car there are now two, one feed, one return. It runs all the way up to the engine bay like stock! We installed a set of Metco Fuel rails and made our own custom cross over line for it as well as an adjustable fuel pressure regulator. After everything was hooked up we Upgrade the factory fuel pump driver wiring and added a relay into the harness for safety shut off in the event of a failure. The system came our great, once installed we saw the fuel pump duty cycle cut down over 40%! :D We are only offering this in house and dont plan to mail order the kit. We swapped out the 47lb Ford Racing injectors that come in stage 3 with a set of 80lb-hr Ford Racing fuel injectors.

After the install was finished we base lined the car with just over 600 RWHP to get the motor broken in. Jason then brought the car back just before Christmas and we dynoed it again making it a little more aggressive still only running 12* timing. The car made 662 RWHP and 620 LB-FT of Torque :don:. We were all very happy with the outcome on 93 octane. We believe the car will easily put down 700+ RWHP on 100 octane and 15-16* timing. The car is seeing 18lbs of boost so this is the most we want to go running street fuel however.

When Jason got the car back he had big issues with traction so we brought the car in this week and installed a set of Race Star 94 Superstars in black 18"x10" rear and 17"x7" Front. Mickey Thompson 305/45/18 drag Radials in the back give the car plenty of traction now and the 17"x7" wheels clear the 14" 4 piston brakes up front! The car has a much meaner look to it and this is going to give him the traction he needs.:driving:

Let me know what you guys think about the car, here are some pictures I took today!

looks good, why go to 18"DR? not a 17" or 15"?

Good looking car but isn't that power low for 18# of boost?

We dont want to push it any further with 93 octane and it is only running 12* timing. If we put 15-16* of timing to it and added 100 octane we are going to see 700-720 RWHP! I dont know of many people making this much power on the TVS in a 5.0L 4V Coyote!

Its a street car, the 18" 305/45/18 drag radials were the same size as stock out back. The customer wanted a big tire to fill the wheel well. Also he likes to take corners and hard turns in the car so much more sidewall would start to fold over with a MT drag radial on the street. Its a little more stable on the street at high speeds that way.

Ok I missed the only 12* of timing part :oops1:

The car also has a lower compression which takes more boost to make up for power loss versus the stock 11:1 compression! Thats why these Coyotes make 600 RWHP on 11-12 psi boost with a stock motor!
