Tim,

I agree I think it will have the look I like once they are installed and the rear-end height is adjusted.

If I get it done early enough this week I'll try to come by your place in Franklin.

I want to see those new side graphics you just installed on the Challenger.

Larry,

Since both delivers are coming UPS I'm thinking I won't get them until late today.

Like possibly after 4 pm central time.

Tim & Larry,

The M/T tires & UPR Coil over rear lift kit just arrived by UPS.

Called DBR about installing the rear-coil-over lift kit.

I think that's gonna take place this Thursday.

Here are some pics. for those interested.

Where you see the picture of the yard stick it is actually on the Left Edge looking straight down even though it does not look like that in the picture.

Thought some of you might like to see that to give you a rough idea of the width.

Larry,

No problem I know guys like to see what's available in the market place.

Reading about what's new in a Magazine is not always actually available.

Post like the above lets people know what's actually out for sell.

Guys,

Here is the up-date on the new M/T tires.

They will "Not" be installed (Before) Bobby & I deliver it to Brenspeed on Monday the 15th of September.

I received a message from Brent/Brenspeed late last night and he said don't install the new tires.

I want your Bullitt Mustang delivered back to me exactly like it left here.

So the Mickey Thompson set of 4-tires will be installed after it comes back to me from Brenspeed in October.

What's going on at the "tigermachine II" house today ???

Busy day today,

Well Cathy is in Florida so the MCS was out of the garage so I decided this was an excellent opportunity for me to get some things done.

I decided to get the Bullitt ready for the trip North come Monday.

That required me to seal-up those very large rectangle air-vents in the Seibon CF hood underneath.

I hardly have ever drove to BRENSPEED and it not have rained !!!

This time I found just the right water-proof-cloth for that purpose.

It is the right color (Black) to blend in nicely when used with the Gorilla Black Tape and Black underneath hood.

This looks a heck of a lot better than what was used the 1st go around.

Below was what was used the 1st time and it did work just not very attractive when hood raised.

Plus a Major-PAIN to get off and clean all the white-sticky-glue off where it stuck.

Next thing I decided to do was take some comparison pictures between the rear M/T Street Comp 275/35-20" tires and the new M/T 305/35-20" tires.

These pictures will give just a rough idea of the difference in the two sizes.

Below two pictures are the 275/35-20" tires now.

I think you will be able to understand from these pictures why the UPR Coil Over Spring Lift-Kit is necessary.

Just look at the fender clearance between the two sizes.

Next thing I decided to do was open the UPR Coil Over Spring Lift-Kit.

If you have an S-197 Mustang (Lowered) this kit will allow you to run the bigger/taller/wider tires in the rear.

I wanted to know what was in the box and I figure the ones of you following this Thread would also like to see the kit.

I actually would not have known about the UPR Kit if it was not for a buddy on S-197 by the name of Earl.

So, major thanks for him bringing this to my attention.

They sure are some meaty tires!!!!
Larry,

They sure do look like that to me when placing them beside the now 275/35-20" tires for the rear.

Well, off to up North in the morning at 4 AM.

Later,
Terry

It seems that a lot of the newer cars now run the 20" wheels & tires.

And the guys with the older Mustangs are also switching to the 20" set-ups.

19" is still an oddball size, so not as much incentive to support it. Hell, I'll be going to 20" street wheels eventually simply because the design I found that I like best only comes that big (or bigger...smh). 20" is becoming pretty common.

figured i'd post some pics in here cause im a pic whore anyway and detail the size's im running.

so far to me the ride is a lot better than when I had the 18's with nitto 555's and definitely better than the 285, 255/30/20 combo that was on it for a few weeks

305/35/20 on the rear with 40mm offset wheel
275/35/20 on the front with 35mm offset
