what size is the inlet?

did this bolt up to existing piping or is it new from some point back?

Dave, From their website, they look like axle back units that mount to the OEM pipes.
yea, I messaged with Rasmus - that's his car. 2.5" inlet and OEM mids... doesn't work for me.

That touring edition sure sounds healthy!

I was just discussing w/some fellow GT500 folks (the '05-09 gen) how good a set of quad tipped mufflers would look back there. I wish someone would come up w/that and a fix for the lower valance for them to fit. That and a set of the S550 tailights would really renew the looks on the rear end of that gen car.

They bolted straight up. I have never seen this level of craftsmanship or fitment on a set of Mustang mufflers before. Will post another thread with more pictures and my thoughts.

And yes, there are various exhausts for S197s:
  • 2005-2010: two hanger design for both GT and GT500
  • 2011-2012: three hanger design both GT and GT500
  • 2013-2014: three hanger design still, but double tips for GT500s
