I hope you have the motor nice and built, but if you do, here is what I run for a turbo

with the upgraded ball bearings.
Great little turbo

You will regret not getting a BB turbo.

I'm assuming the size is the concern? If you want 800 to 1000, unless you have twins you are going to struggle to get there. I'm not sure which single you have in mind. I put mine next to sactowns, the only difference is the inlet/outlet size.

I just want you to buy something that works right first time, instead of being disappointed or having to do other mods to get there.

I don't know anything about the On3 turbos, the only thing I can suggest is that you get what you pay off. I don't know how many passes I have on my turbo, but I have yet to have any issues with it, the damn thing is flawless.

So get onto google and start researching for the BB vs Journal

I have had both journal and BB in the same turbo. Night and day difference.

You will get what you pay for. Cheaper racing parts cost way too much. They make other things break or function incorrectly or they break themselves. Then you replace them and the carnage they cause.

Buy once, cry once.

A few Local LS guys use those cheap less than $200 feebay turbos and kits on their cars with varying degree's of success, Some smoke, some come apart, some run without issues, and for no more than they hav in them, they fly.

Those guys are cheap SOB's and have less than a grand in everything they have, If it breaks on them, they just go pull an old $200 JY LS motor and strap another cheap turbo on it and run it.
