Sounds like I'll be reading about some whining.
And drilling holes in your intercooler
And drilling holes in your intercooler
I think that was resolved with the '15+ models. Mine is a '16 and I don't have the issue, nor have I drilled it.
Mines a 13, I get gunk out the intercooler weep hole and drain off a gallon of water/oil/gas crap mix every few thousand miles from my UPR mega catch can with CSS.

That's all from a catch can setup?
Yep, I don't have exact mileage but that picture is between 5 and 7 thousand miles worth, and missing few half water bottles that I emptied on longer trips. Yes the majority is water (bottom) but then theres chunky mid layer of white gunk thats like curdled milk and then gas/oil mix floating on top... and it stinks. This is through winter, I assume a lot is from cold start condensation.
Well it's not an ecoboost but I just picked up a 2016 F150 Lariat 5.0 in ruby red metallic. Was browsing Amazon for bed extenders/dividers and prices were all around $300 or more for molded plastic. I had one in my cart and almost clicked to buy it then came to my senses. Went to Lowe's this afternoon and picked up an 8' 2x8 and cut it to 63" and dropped it in the slots in the bedliner. Done for less than $8.
And it barely fits in my garage. I had to trim the antenna down about 5".

I've been paying more attention to the F150 stuff. I am planning one more season with my 5.4 turd before looking to move forward a few years. I saw this..
"540 horsepower @ 5,800 rpm and 550 lb-ft of torque @ 3,850 rpm to the wheels" from a 2.7 Ecoboost!!!!! Holy shit! That is incredible. No good for me, but interesting just the same.

I am thinking a tuned 3.5 will be in my future.
