I did the Silverhorse kit a few years ago. I put the button in the center console bin, I think it's more convenient there than in the glove box.

I lengthened the wire and installed it to the right of the headlight switch.
Much more convenient to be able to reach in on the driver side and pop it.

Thanks. Any accidental push of the button going down the road? Any pictures of the install?

I had mine in the same place in my 2009 Bullitt. Was perfect there, easy to get to and nobody else knew what it was. Of course I never hit it accidentally. When was the last time you hit your headlight switch accidentally?

Good point Skwerl. I just meant that with it being there, reaching for the headlight switch you might hit it accidentally. I think that is a great spot like Gabe said, easy to push when you are outside the car.

Installed Ford Performance P springs on the rear of my 06 last night. Intending to install a Ford Performance adjustable Panhard bar today, which might be a challenge - the bolts securing the original bar have been there for 13 years!

I have seen where the bolts seem to be frozen in and will not come out even if you beat the crap out of them. But really they just have a groove wore in them and with some wiggling, they come out relatively easy after you take the bind off of them. Good luck.

Finally got around to getting my car over to a muffler shop to have them cut the H crossover section from the stock catted mid-pipe and then install my Mac ProChamber to the stock cats. Prior to adding the OEM cats to the ProChamber and Borla S-type axle-backs, I'd been running the Mac off-road ProChamber setup with the Borlas. Following the re-installation of the OEM cats, I took the car for a long test drive to find out how much different the Borlas would sound when compared to running off-road. During the test drive, I noticed that with the windows down I could still hear the rumble of the Borlas fairly well on acceleration and also hear them gurgling on deceleration fairly well. But with the windows up, the factory cats did absolutely nothing for reducing nor dampening the amount of interior resonance drone I was hearing when compared to running the off-road ProChamber setup. As for loudness reduction goes, IMO by reinstalling the OEM cats reduced the overall volume of the Borla S-types by just 15-20% or by 2-3 decibel levels which really isn't all that bad and can still be heard fairly well from outside the vehicle. However, the interior resonance drone from the S-types has left me with no other choice but to make the switch to the Roush Extreme Cat-back exhaust which has been documented on these forums for producing virtually no interior resonance drone. On a lighter note, I also recently made the switch from Brenspeed to JDM engineering and so far I've been very pleased with my new JDM tune and both Jim Jr. and Nick are very pleasant and comfortable to work with by providing excellent customer service and support as well :waytogo:

You sure got that right lol. But thanks to all the support from those on YouTube who have the Roush catback on their 05-10 Mustangs and for all the positive feedback that you've provided from your personal experience with the Roush exhaust setup, has finally convinced me to pull the trigger and for that, I am truly grateful. In the meantime, I will follow up and let you know when I'll have the Roush Extreme Exhaust System installed and ready to go :waytogo:

Installed my Ford Performance adjustable Panhard bar this morning. It didn’t go too badly. I’m expecting to use up nearly all of the available adjustment in re-centering the rear axle. This surprised me a little; the Ford Performance P springs I installed only lowered the rear end 1”.

According to the Ford Performance Parts website, the description clearly states the P springs lower the car by approximately 1.0" Therefore it shouldn't come as any surprise lol.
My surprise had to do with the amount of axle re-centering adjustment available with the Ford Performance Panhard bar. I knew that I would get approximately 1" of lowering with the P springs, which was one of the reasons I selected them.

I finally got everything sorted out with k&n and me new CAI, I would have never replaced it if it wasn’t for the cracking in the first pic, I have seen too many cylinder walls dusted by sucking in non filtered air(and this intake was obviously for a 05-09 not a ‘10) I ordered my new CAI ON MAY 7 and just today got everything installed kandn had to send me bolts a new air box and lid. I had to get a different tune since I removed the JLT, and it’s still not right I am having an issue with my engine dying intermittently when slowing to turn, I just got the cheap Bama though, I’m gonna have to get a Lito I just know it, which is fine, just not in the
immediate car fund budget, I’m glad I got it installed finally though

I put the SVT wheels back on today.
They have almost-new front Continental DW 285/40/18 tires and almost-new rear 305/40/18 Nitto 555R's on them.
Much better than 6-year-old Eagle F1's and bald 555R's

And every time I put these wheels back on I realize how much I love the look :)

I drove it on some back roads up to the property I’m closing on in two days. I haven’t driven her in 3-4 weeks at least, and it was nice to ride with the windows down
