Hmmmmm.... let's say a really nice '68 costs you $40,000..... hell let's say it's $80,000. Now, $300,000 will buy an awful lot of fuel. Like 107,000+ gallons. If it got just 10 mpg it'd cover a million miles of driving.

Hell even if you paid a carbon tax, it would buy an awful lot of fuel.

But that warm hug of a tree wouldn't feel quite the same.

Last week I read several articles about the upcoming electric cars. They all had in common that the expected battery live will be around 10 years, almost independent of driven miles.

To translate this to our Mustangs, they would be worthless now. And, how much money would you pay for a 8 year old if you expect only two more years?
