Hello :)
Quick Intro: Hey guys, this is my first post on here. I came to seek some info from other crowd killers like me :nixon:

Now as the title states, I have a 2014 Mustang V6, engine started ticking/make tapping noises and I'm looking to turn my V6 into a V8. I plan on purchasing a Ford 5.0 Coyote Engine instead of the F150.

My question is what is there all I need to know before going through with this?

A list of parts would be delightful.

This is not a hardcore swap. Moved. Please search as this topic has been discussed

I would say you almost need a donor car for this.

100% get a donor car and just swap everything over, it will end up saving you time and money in the long run.

I would not do the F150 engine. Get the mustang specific 5.0.

If I were going to do something like this, I would not go with a 5.0L. I would go with a Ford crate 427 engine and make my Mustang something 'special' :)

If you're only thinking of doing a Coyote swap in place of your V6, you'd be better off selling your car and buying an '11-'14 GT. This would save you the hassle of finding a donor car plus the labor cost of swapping over the necessary components to convert your car into a GT tribute.
If you're really attached to your car and have the budget to do something different, you could consider other engine/tranny swap options such as the Godzilla 7.3/Magnum XL if you prefer something more modern, or a BBF 460/C6 automatic if you prefer to go old school. A pushrod V8 would easily fit inside the S197 engine bay with room to spare for LT headers and other add ons.

A coyote swap on this should be practically plug&play as this year had the coyote available.
