I have a coupe woodpeckers coming to my feeders, but I have not successfully id'd them yet. I think they are red bellied woodpeckers. They are the right size and they are known to visit sunflower seed filled feeders. Which is what I feed my birds. I have also seen and heard pilated woodpeckers in the forest across the street. I'd like to get a picture but they always fly away when I crack the sliding door open to try to get a picture.

EDIT: 1/3/22 They were back yesterday and they are definitely the red-bellied woodpeckers.

A couple from last week during that storm that shut down I95 for 24 hrs. Took a bunch of pictures while it was still coming down, it was still pretty overcast and the pictures turned out pretty bland. Was going to give up on getting any decent pics, but in the afternoon the skies finally cleared, the sun came out, and the lighting really popped, and I had to run in and get the camera again. Pretty pleased with these, but my bar is usually pretty low for snow pics. Hope this translates well on everyone's screens.

Not as good as Robersons but I snapped these from our kitchen window using my iPhone and binoculars! This flock visits our yard almost every weekend, we’ve also had robins, blue jays and some lone birds coming and going but they’re much harder to get photos of.
