Non foulers for the rear O2 sensor.
What year is this car? What processor code? (The 4 difit code on PCM sticker)

Can the copperhead ECU pick up the use of the 1MOhm resistor/1 mircofarad capacitor combo low pass filter as a fake signal? Some toyotas use the downstream O2 sensors to calibrate the upstream wideband sensors.

It was the only effective solution for the P0420 code on my SVT focus with a "race" metallic spun converter. Might be worth the $5 in parts from a local electronics sore to find out.

Ok so here’s an update.
Last Friday I replaced the pcv and tightened the loose bolts on the valve covers and checking the hoses from the Intake tube, drove the car all week with no codes popping. Saturday afternoon the light comes on and it’s P014A. this car is driving me crazy.

Have you replaced the upstream o2 sensor?
If not, swap them between banks, and see if the code 'moves' with the sensor.

So after a week of not coming on, the engine light came on. Scanned it and p0420 & 430 came back. I attached a picture of what the scan tool said. What does that mean?
Is this something I’ll probably have to take into the dealership to diagnose?

420& 430 is flagging both converters.
Worn out or pcm not happy with aftermarket converters.

So even though bank 1 is still the original CaT, the new aftermarket cat on bank 2 will trip a code for both?

420 is one bank, 430 is the other.

Did you not put on the aftermarket because you got a P0430 code? So your OEM cats were worn out, but you only put on one side, AM, that the computer does not like.

Yes I originally only replaced one side, the bank 2. P430 code was the only one popping up at the time

so try replacing it with an OEM?

Dead thread revival here, but I read this and other P0430 threads because my 2011 GT/CS 6-speed w/50K miles has had a stubborn P0430 for 18 months. No relevant mods except Roush axle-backs, and the car has been passing emissions testing since 2013 with those. Using HPTuners to set the code to not be reported and not light the MIL worked for me, my Innova scanner showed emissions readiness "green" after 2 days of normal driving, and it passed Ohio's emissions testing.
