2006 GT premium 5 speed 168,000 miles bought at 59,000 miles and have never had an issue out of it replaced the timing chain set at 155k mi just for good measure.

I tried calling several times but went ahead and just ordered the pump and the timing kit from tasca. I got the whole deal after shipping for 350. I was going to pay 331 for just the 2 phasers and a chain wedge last night. Im glad i waited.

I have narrowed a noise (knock) coming from the passenger side of my engine down to a bad cam phaser. (light knock at idle, hot or cold, used an automotive stethescope to narrow the noise to the front "hump" on the valve cover on the passenger side.) the light knock is present at idle and goes...

I took the valve cover back off last night to get a better seal, it was leaking slightly, looked at the chain, and it was tight as a rock, is this because of a normal difference in engine rotation position? sorry I'm just not sure, anyone care to chime in?
