Designed to be this way or? 2005 GT

The closer you get to 0degs. of toe ie., no positive or negative toe, the twitchier it gets when driving straight. I had the same experience when I set my alignment to strait up. That's probably true with most rwd cars but maybe not. I had a 91 Camaro RS that I did the same thing to but it...

Looking to improve handling without lowering the car

I understand where everyone is coming from but apparently you don't want to make a track car. You seem to want a car with a more sure footed ride. Age can cause some of the problems you are experiencing so as one person suggested start with the ware items like bushings. Check them for cracking...

    Leaking on passenger side floorboard

Here are two of the three most common water entry points and how I fixed them. First I add aluminum screen on the backside of the cowl cover, this keeps out the leaves and small seeds that fall of the trees next to my driveway, then I removed the deteriorated foam gaskets under the cowl snap...

How do I remove and replace the ECU/ECM Connectors on a 2005 Mustang Gt

Just to get this correct you want to disconnect then reconnect the ECM pig tails not completely rewire the harness ends?

    AC Recharge after engine swap

Moisture will get in the system even though the smallest of holes. The fact that your system was open for months means you definitely have moisture in the system. The drier is a moisture magnet so it either needs to be replaced or have a long vacuum session drawn on it, the longer the better...

    AC Recharge after engine swap

It is of ultimate importance to vacuum the system and to replace the drier. Any moisture in the system can cause a blockage and stop the a/c from working. You will also lose some oil by replacing the drier and condenser. How much I don't know. If you still have the parts laying around you might...

Sorry to take so long to reply, I haven't been on the forum for quite some time. As for making another set I really don't think I could at this time. I don't have the time or the equipment to replicate them now. I'd love to see someone put them into production or at least make a set for their...

    Hesitation issue-2008 Ford Mustang GT

WOW. Hope everything inside the tranny is still ok from running it low of fluid. Could that have been the problem with the original trans?

    Hesitation issue-2008 Ford Mustang GT

I'm not real sure. My 06 is a manual. I would think a scan tool or a programer that can data log would show gear selection. My be worth starting a new thread on transmission electronics and or wiring. There hast to be a way to tell. The OBD2 port would be my guess too.

    Hesitation issue-2008 Ford Mustang GT

Are you sure the trans is actually in first gear and not second or a higher gear when pulling out from a stop? Any higher gear would possibly allow it to roll backwards because there isn't enough torque transfer so it would feel really slow and sluggish. That could be a computer or eleclrtical...

Check out these tail lights for a 05 - 09 GT

If you look real close, I made the metal backing plate that the taillights are mounted to, is formed to match the curvature of the trunk lid. The stock taillights are not. Even if you cut or took off the red lens portion of it it would be flat compared to the trunk lid. I don't think it would...

Check out these tail lights for a 05 - 09 GT

It all sounds so simple. And yes I also wanted to do LEDs but couldn't find what I was looking for at the time. I like all the suggestions made by everyone who has chimed in lately. A flat type panel with LEDs behind the lens would solve or simplify one issue but the biggest issue is mounting...
