Recently replaced alternator and since then the car has lost all electrical power twice while driving but then does come back after a few minutes. Under the hood I can hear what sounds like a dull clicking you can almost feel it more than you hear it near the front passenger side near the fuse...
I forgot to mention that I had put in a bottle of the Techron cleaner last week, I was wondering if that could've had something to do with the misfire and low fuel alert. Maybe it stirred something up . So you guys recommend Ford coils and plugs???
Today check engine light came on so I hit O'Reillys and they got the P0303 on cylinder 3 so likely a spark plug or ignition coil then shortly after on way back to the house the fuel gauge dropped to empty and said something on the display I don't recall what... but it definitely wasn't empty...
Probably already a thread if so please just point me in that direction. Basically just sounds like something electrical almost like you would expect the radio to pop open like an electronic door. I said ac/heater but it really is the entire center area behind radio, air controls even sounds...
