His speed is pretty much unrivaled....he leads with a hook and really can't be stopped, had he not changed weight (and then returned back down) he probably would have a much stronger legacy.

He was a great boxer. This reminds me of why I've been so disappointed with all the "pay per view" matches lately. We need more boxers like this. I haven't seen a good knockout in a while...or a good match for that matter.

He's the guy we loved to hate. I absolutely hated his "Ali wanna be" trash talk, but he was incredible in his prime.

Man was def great in his time, but I have absolutely no respect for a fighter who doesn't respect the man across the mat, ring, cage from him enough to not dance around like a fucking idiot during the fight.

I've never considered Jones to be disrespectful. In one of his fights (I believe it was Griffin II) he had the guy all but out, but the ref wouldn't stop it. Jones literally stopped hitting the other guy and looked over at the ref and was yelling at him instead of just teeing off. I thought that was a class act.

Trash talk and dancing around is frowned upon, and I understand. But never forget part of the sport is entertainment and the fighters know that. There is a reason the Klitschko brothers are the most dominant HWs in a long time but yet their fights arent even on American TV alot of the time.

That lead left hook was dominant! I do miss this type of talent. Flashy or not, it was great. At that time he could back up being cocky:)

I don't know a lot about boxing but he looks to be very fast and used a lot of body movements and distractions to land some punches. A couple of times it looked like he could predict the punch was coming and land a big blow before the other guy could even react. It looks like he was one hell of a boxer though.

I do have to say though I think Rocky Marciano is one of my favorite fighters. Completely different fighters, style and classes though.
