With longtubes you need to have the o2 transport delay adjusted to avoid any idle stalling issues. Also the hanging idle issue you are facing, I had the same issue with a car I recently tuned. Apparently on the newest SCT Update there was certain strategies that were affected that they had idle tables not defined/scaled properly, I found this out the hard way, I simply switched the strategy on this particular car since the way it was changed I didn't have enough cells to fix the issue or rescale properly. Good luck and let us know what you find out.

I am still dealing with the stalling occasionally at lights. Oddly enough, it went from happening 3-5 times a week to 1-2 times a week. Weather, temps, humidity don't seem to be a factor in which whether or not it stalls or not.

The airbag, security system and charging system issues have been resolved. They were independent of the ECU/tune. I have had a revision and no change. The rough(ish) acceleration still persists. Honestly, I feel the car is experiencing a loss in power.

Right now, however, I am dealing with torn boots on the tie-rod ends, need an alignment (hopefully this will correct the larger than average understeer, but that's another discussion for another section in the forum) and another exhaust leak has popped up. I'll have to put it up on a lift and investigate where it is.

Never had to do this and my car idles and runs fine and has done so for the past 2+ years. Adaptive learning should take care of it.

Are you sure your tuner left it enabled in the tune?

Lund tuning and Brenspeed in that order didn't mention that this was the cause of my issue and at the time I wasn't educated enough of what was going on. I didn't learn about it till I went to Rev Auto and Adam informed me. As I scroll around the forum world I find that this happens to some and not others. The interesting thing to me is that I have Kooks mid-lengths and they theoretically shouldn't have as much of an issue with it.

That is interesting. My best guess would be that some strategies are more developed than others. It's possible that may be the cause where some are affected and other's not.

I have been having idle and off idle and rev recovery issues on my 2014 with my Lund Tune. It may be related to my CAI which I am swapping to a very well known proven one now. But if that doesn't solve our issues I may be looking elsewhere to get it resolved(tuned)
Jr is tuning my car though not Sr
IDK if that's got anything to do with it.
Maybe Danner can come tune my shit since he is not too far away

I never had any stalling issues after installing my longtubes. Tuner told me I didn't need a revision and he was right.

My thoughts too. I also wonder if #8 is more prevalent with some strategies also.

Maybe the people in this forum with headers can post their strategies and say whether or not they have stalling issues. I'll start:

Neither does lund or any good tuner. ALOT of people use lunds base files including danner

Actually he worked on the original tune at Livernois when he bought his car. I believe he still uses the same cam timing profiles developed then, today.

Something better answered by him.

His tunes used on my cars all had the same cam timing over a period of 3 years. Never changed it.
