Showed up, everything is in great condition. Gonna order some Boss 302 lines, paint everything up and slap it on in a few weeks.

This is exactly what i did on my 06GT. Used the G2 stuff to paint calipers.

How do you like the Boss lines? I've been going back and forth about buying them, but I think that its probably something I should do with 110k on my stock lines. I've also done some reading up on SS lines, and I'm not sure that its something I want to do on a DD. The Boss lines seem to make the best sense over SS as far as longevity, reliability, and price.

I like the Boss lines. My reasoning was the same as your after reading up on SS lines and my car is my DD. Hard to beat the price, fit and function of the Boss lines.

Awesome! I looked at my stock lines today and the threaded part at the hard line is pretty crusty. I'm not sure if thats a can of worms I want to open as long as everything is working alright...

However, I did replace the brackets and rotors today. I'm gonna think about doing the lines before I decide if/when to put the calipers on. Painted everything matte black with some VHT Flameproof header paint. Everything was so clean from Roush, I just hosed it down real fast with brake clean, and sprayed. 2-3 coats on everything. I also sprayed the rotor hats and the vent fins.

My initial impression is that these make a pretty nice difference. The car feels like it bites better and slows quicker. I was so impressed with the difference that I may have gotten a little overzealous. You can see in the last picture I put some heat into those rotors lol.

And here are the calipers

Thanks for the links! I've been wanting to do this for a while and bit the bullet. Said they ha two sets of calipers left and I got one, so there should be one left. $125 for new calipers brackets and rotors is crazy...

everyone with a 05'-10' needs to jump on this deal from roush. The 13.2" rotor fills in behind 18" wheels great. Hell I still have the calipers new in box, I just kept them for the future.

Should only be one set left. I just ordered a set. Just need to order the rotors

Edit - rotors ordered. Are the rotors the same front and back?? I need stock rotors for the rear now that I got these. I have drilled and slotted rotors right now so I'll have to order a set of replacements for the rear somewhere.

All rears are the same except for the 13-14 GT500. LMR has take off rotor sets for like $60, front and rear. But the fronts are for the 05-10 GT brakes

I just OEM pads because I've heard other brands are hit or miss. Either too much dust, too much noise, or the little clips fall off.
