I think you should paint the shrouds and the original headlight buckets (just the circular part that was the chrome reflector) flat metallic silver or gunmetal.

+1 to what the others are saying. With all respect, I'm not feeling them at all. They don't flow with the car. If you do what everyone is saying to 'blend' them in with the car then it might be passable.

IMO, 05-09 models are meant to be retro. Halo lights, cheezy clear tail lights and even modern wheels make these cars look like total ass. So I vote no.

I can't seem to find my diagram, the issue is that you can not mount the entire projector on top of the original reflector that is what causes the googly eyes. What would look fine, is if the lense of projected was flush with back of reflector. This of course means the projector must protrude through the lense to the rear which can cause clearance issues potentially.

Edit found diagrame

Agreed. I'm not even a fan of the factory projector lights on the 11-14's. I've yet to see an aftermarket projector headlight for these cars that didn't look like hot garbage. They all go in the "rice" category for me.

The only aftermarket headlights even remotely close to being acceptable are the retro style headlights from AM.

All valid and true comments, this was more of function > form. The projectors I'm using have a very wide and clean cut off making night visibility 100% better than any reflector can achieve.

I had the Ford oem hid before and currently have the Saleen hid headlamps.

Saleen was a big improvement as it uses d1s bulbs and the buckets are designed better.

But anyways, I agree that it doesnt look right. It maybe the shrouds or just the design in general. They are off the car and will experiment some more with a different shroud design.

There's actually some dude I saw with a facebook page that makes retrofits and they're probably the coolest thing I've seen on the 05-09's. Forget his name but they're pricey, like $599-$699
