Just seeing what everyone normally goes with. As far as gauge pods, I haven't decided between which two I'm going to get yet. I will soon though! It's between the SoS triple pillar pod and the CDC triple dash pod.

I was thinking of going with boost, air/fuel ratio (wideband) and an oil pressure gauge... but since I'm going to be running the M90 I'm thinking of getting an intake air temp gauge instead of the oil pressure.

What kind of gauges do you run in your ride =)

I would absolutely recommend at least one, if not two Aeroforce gauges. You can monitor any of dozens of functions and they simply plug into your OBD port under the dash. I ran two Aeroforce gauges plus the boost gauge which came with the blower and a separate wideband gauge. To be honest the boost gauge was ignored from about 2 weeks after I installed the blower. I'd use it to check vacuum at idle but never looked at it while I was in the throttle. It's nice bling for your passengers though.

Originally I wanted to go with a dash pod because I didn't want the 'look' of gauges on the A pillar. But wiring became a huge issue as well as finding a decent dash pod which wouldn't warp and look like shit. I absolutely did not want to drill holes in my dash and feeding the wiring through the defrost vents was more work than I was willing to undertake. I finally relented and went with an SOS A pillar pod and it was perfect. Should have gotten it from the start.

I just looked them up and they sound pretty great. I didn't know gauges existed that could read more than one (lol such a noob). Pretty pricey though, may just start looking for them used I guess.

And I've been leaning towards the SoS as well. I think the dash gauge looks decent from the pics, but I would hate it if I couldn't get it painted to match the rest of the dash. SoS seems like the way to go

I'd ask your tuner when it comes to brand. Lito recommended an AEM wideband, so I run that with an autometer boost gauge. I honestly only look at the wideband, and now that the car is tuned, I only do that because I'm paranoid

Sos pillar pod. Another option is the plx. I like to see a/f, boost, iat, and fuel trims. The nice thing about an obd based gauge is that you can cycle it and see whatever you want that's available in obd.

I would monitor cylinder head temp, intake air temp, fuel pressure and fuel temp on my Aeroforce gauges. The wideband was mounted in a Roush vent pod and I watched that as well. You want to see 14.7 at idle and off throttle, and about 11.5-12.0 at WOT.

How in the world did you monitor all of that? I have a tough time catching boost and AFR.

My ears and butt cheeks would read boost, no need to look at the boost gauge.

Ha ha. Could be a different issue for a stock block. I know Lito asked me how many lbs of boost I was pushing.

In my Vortech supercharged '07 GT, I ran a VDO boost gauge in a Roush vent pod. Super easy to read as it only went to 15 psi and no vacuum - just boost...

I run an Autometer electronic boost gauge in the left side center vent and an Innovate MTX-L wideband on the right side center vent. Eventually I want to get a Aeroforce for the far left vent.

PLX lets you daisy chain multiple sensors to one gauge. I never liked the idea of having something plugged into the OBD port full time.

Vehicle speed (MPH)
Fuel Economy
Cost Per Mile/Cost Per Trip
Manifold Pressure (not available on some vehicles)
Battery Voltage
Engine Load

Throttle Position
Intake Air Temperature
Ignition Timing
Engine Speed (RPM)
O2 Sensor Data
Fuel Trim
Hybrid Battery Charge (for Toyota Prius and Ford Escape)
And many more, depending on your vehicle's sensor design

I went with the SOS two pod pillar C2 gauges(Boost and Fuel pressure) for my Saleen Series VI SC. I like the look clean and out ofthe way.

Vac/boost and AFR in a SOS dual pillar pod. Soon to add an Aeroforce in a Roush vent pod.

I have boost/vacuum, AEM a/f, oil pressure, and water temp (I got this one for free a while ago...it's pointless lol). I still need to get a couple more (fuel pressure, etc). And I'll be switching out the AEM eventually for the matching autometer A/F. I absolutely love the Cobalt series.
