So you think they will be a good set? I'm not very well versed on Coilover kits but I got such a good deal I figured I would at least give it try.

Yeah, for a street car that is a good setup. You could even do some reasonable track day stuff with those. I think that is what the Super Snakes run. I put a set on someone's car. I drove it, it seems pretty good. I never got a chance to give it a workout but it was behaved nicely. Well worth the $1200.

It's nice that all the S197 stuff is getting blown out. I think I'm going to build a dedicated track car next year......on the cheap!

They're just American muscle Saleen replicas. 18x10

Gmitch: just for street fun, handling. I'm ditching the air ride and want to go back to something else. Had the KW V3s but want to go a different route. Lowering is not important at all, mild drop is fine. Just want it for spirited driving now and then on the way to the grocery store.

You're not going to beat that deal then. Get em before they run out or change the price!:thumb2:

Thanks gmitch! Always appreciate your opinion when it comes to suspension. Do you think the clubsports are worth it over the street coilovers? What's the real difference other than price?

I'm a little lost. Are you asking if the KW Clubsports are worth it over the Eibach Pro Streets?

Sorry, I mean the H&R RSS Club Sport -- going to stay away from KW this time around, it's a little too pricey.

Just wondering if there is any reason to get the H&R RSS over the H&R Street. Also, if I should be considering any of the Eibach stuff.

You may see something. I already know what is going on.:roflmao:

At least in the power department hahaha.

At the rate Jim is going he's gonna have us both smoked there.

More or less my endgame is a car that's 100% track driven. No interior, no A/C, as much carbon fiber as I feel like molding lol. Stripped to the bone and rebuilt without a budget is more or less my goal.

I was referring to dampers.

The H&R RSS Clubsports have some seriously stiff springs. Like "race car" stiff (630/515). They're stiffer than MY RACE CAR! I would stay away from those.

The H&R Street Performance's don't list their spring rates (at least I can't find them). They are progressive though. Not the end of the world, but I prefer linear stuff.

The Eibach Pro Streets have some good spring rates, 314/246. And at $1200 are pretty hard to beat. And if you are running a blower (heavier) look into the Pro Streets for the GT500. They are the same but have slightly stiffer springs (400/274).

Between those^^^^ I would go for the Eibach's.

Oh okay. Even if you get me there my Griggs system should give you a run for your money. Though idk what else you run for suspension.
The Griggs stuff is cool, no doubt. Better than what I have. You would still have to out drive me though.....................................:chainsaw:

Lol better get to it!! I want a ride sometime!
I'm going to put a potty in for a passenger seat!:roflmao:

I know I have goofy goals for my stuff. For the drag car it will be for it to pull the wheels on the street........from a 50 roll.:boobies:

Hahaha we will definitely have to take a few passes around the track. Be pretty cool to get the only RR specs in the world on the same course.

I decided a long time ago that if I was going to do anything with my car, it would be over the top. Power, suspension, etc. I threw the budget out the window and pretty much buy the top of the line stuff when it comes on sale.
