So what are the '15 auto's running in the 1/4 stock in the real world?

Debating ordering a '16 auto with the 3:55's. Was wondering what they were running stock with either the 3:15 or 3:55 gears. My friends brother in NY claims to run 12.60's bone stock with a 3:55 car in 500 DA.

I went a 12.6@112 with 1.9 sixty.

I had about 90lbs pulled out, BUT I also had a completely topped of tank of 87 octane (I basically went straight to the track)

Thanks. Looks like the 3:55's make a noticeable difference...

So other than the obvious, are the 3.15 gears a pig when getting on the go-pedal???

Anybody with 3.15 gears wish they had gotten higher gears?

I'm a fan. (3.15s)

Heck, I wish there was a 2.73 available for the S550.

The real question is, how close are the wheelbases? Because it needs to fit the slight depressions in his garage floor that the s197 made.

With the gear ratio of the 6R80 no need to go any higher, it would make 1st gear useless.

drove an Auto with 3.15's today. AMAZING and the paddle wheel shifting is cool too!

Drive one with the 3:55's too...feels much better to me back to back. Should be good for about a tenth I'd figure too.

So if you're staying stock or throwing on some bolt-ons - 3.55's, but what is the consensus with a 2.9L Whipple or Twins? 3.15 or 3.55? I'm heavily debating getting a new 5.0 (Finally) depending on rebates/pricing for the '15 models in the coming months. It will have a power adder on it immediately as well as take a trip to Circle D in H-Town.

I can't answer to how an auto with 3.15's would behave with bolt-ons or a power adder, but stock the car is a PIG. LOL
