Looking great man. I'm a couple steps behind. Wanted to get the wheelhop out of the way and master the power to the ground before I go for the nGauge/Lund tune. How'd you like the nGauge? Only ever used the Xcal 3 and 4 before.

Hate the notchiness

Not a fan either. Missed 3rd a couple of times when really shifting hard. Can't wait to get an MGW.

Thanks! I love it! It blows the SCT out of the water. I can display 4 parameters at once, tune the car, run diagnostics, and it just looks great. All for $450, you can't beat it.

Nguage will be my tuner of choice when the time comes, it's like having a aeroforce mounted in your car that holds tunes!

I got 98% finished with installing the kit yesterday. I just need to wire a switched 12V source to the arming switch. I was sure I had one yesterday after testing it several times with a multi-meter but once I actually hooked up the switch and turned the car on, no power was being sent through that lead, even to the plug that the wire I tapped into pinned in. I'm thinking the clamp-down splice or whatever you call them might not be making a good connection and shorting that wire. So I just ended up ordering a fuse panel power tap that you plug into the fuse panel then run whatever you want to power off of that. I'll post more pictures once I have it completely programmed and cleaned up. I will eventually wrap the wire bundle in loom or electrical tape, but that's a project for another day.

So he's going to address it approximately a half hour after he arrives at the track with those tires on, LOL.

It's all in the launch. I'm not worried about launching it hard. A 1,500 to 2K launch won't snap half shafts. I've read through several threads where people have snapped them, and it's on launches above 3K. My wheel hop is pretty much eliminated as well so I don't need to worry about that taking the half shafts either.

If they snap, no big deal, it'll just be down a bit before I get some FRPP ones. I don't depend on it to get to work or school :) The benefits of having a beater and a race/fun car.

I need to cut down the reinforcement plate I have the bottle mounted on and paint it but this is how it's mounted. I have the line running down the spare well, and under the car.

My arming switch is mounted on the panel below the instrument cluster out of sight.

Maybe, maybe not lol. Under pressure the liquid won't be sloshing around I would think, the bottle does have a siphon tube after all. I have it mounted that way because it will be easy to open/close, the line was stretched with it turned around, and it will be easier to ready the gauge when I get one.

It's easy to turn around, I'll call NX and see if it will cause any issues with it that way.

It won't be much of an issue when the bottle is full. But as it gets low 1/2-1/4 on hard acceleration the liquid portion may get pushed out of the path of the siphon tube and getting gas instead of liquid

I understand that but that's why bottle pressures will be kept under constant monitoring.
