I'm currently running a 26x4.5 on the front of my 06. I went to a trans brake this year and think I'd be better off with a 28x4.5 since the car is so quick out of the hole now. Are there any fitment issues with a tire that tall on the front? The car is stock height in the front.

I have stock springs/ride height and 28x6 front runners, no problem. Race Star wheels.

28" M/T et fronts, 26" M/T et street bias ply rears. 2008 variant CJ drag springs (rear sits maybe 1/2"-3/4" lower than stock). Looks funny, works well

Hey, did you have to swap out your studs up front to run those wheels? I have race stars in the rear (15x10) and had to go with a longer stud. Just wondered if it was the same for the front rims.

I didn't have to change the studs for the fronts.

Thanks everyone. All of your cars look amazing. 28" skinnies is on my list of changes for next season. Thanks for all the replies.
