We had a decent weather night this past Friday, the DA ended up being around 2200 by the time I got my last pass in. Ended up getting a 12.32 out of it. This is at Quaker City Motorsports Park in Ohio. It is a notoriously slow track because it goes uphill from just before 1000' on. If I had been at Norwalk or Thompson, these would have been low 12.20's, maybe 12 teens. Looking forward to some mineshaft air this fall, hopefully I can get a 12.0 out of it.

I'd love to take a trip there. I don't trust my truck to get me there and back though. Some day.

Nice. What's done to your car?
Turbo 400 with a brake and a nice, loose converter. 9" with 4.57 gears. LT Headers, OR X with Spiral Flow mufflers dumped in front of rear axle. JLT CAI, Detroit Rocker Cams. CMDPs. Car weighs 3420 with me in it
Nice reaction time also
Thanks, except for that stupid - in front of it. That's been my problem all year, red lighting.

any vids? curious how the mufflers sound dumped before the axle (considering something similar to drop weight of over axle pipes and axle back mufflers)

I don't have any good video. I go to the track alone so it's hard to get a good video. I'll see what I can do.

Those sound pretty good. I'm sure you could be quiet when you wanted to. I honestly like a sort of quiet-ish exhaust. I had muffler deletes for all of about 2 hours and then put my gt500 mufflers back on. Couldn't stand how loud they were.

AAAHH I didn't even notice that. Oh well We tested at MIR 2 years ago and the track prep there is beyond STUCK. You shoes had better be on tight or you loose them checking the track.

That's the way Norwalk is too. I just ordered a set of Pro Bracket Radials. My ET Street Pros weren't hooking at the local 1/8 mile track on Sunday. They are 2 years old have a ton of passes on them. Hopefully these will help. Winter project will be suspension.

On my friends race car(which I also work on) we only put 50 runs on the MT slicks and then there replaced.

Every Fri, Sat, and Sun is alot of racing !

I put 34 runs on my 05 GT in 2 days a couple of weekends ago.

Car never spun on any of those runs, so my tires should last awhile :)

I never had a spinning problem foot braking but using a trans brake has caused some issues at one track. My plan for the winter is CJ springs and shocks/struts and maybe an ARB.

How do you like the TH400? I'm really considering that as my next trans. I like the idea of the TH400 over a glide. I think it would be "more fun" to shift an extra time.
