so if one were to do the actual CJ cams on a stock Coyote, do you just need to swap heads and springs (if you don't want to go the grinding route)?

Here are the differences:

M-6550-M50BEXH = 13mm/290 duration, upgrade for the Boss heads, grinding needed to fit gt heads, $715.
M-6550-M50BR = 13mm/263 duration, production Boss, possible grinding to fit gt heads, $100.
M-6550-M50GTE = 11mm/290 duration, upgrade for GT heads, no grinding required, $275.

Those (if those are the CJ ones I am thinking of).

EDIT: Just checked, this is what is in the Aluminator XS (Cobra Jet based):
M-6550-M50BINT Boss 302 intake camshaft - 13mm lift / 263 degrees duration
M-6550-M50BEXH Boss 302 exhaust camshaft - 13mm lift / 290 degrees duration

Not worth the trouble to swap to 13mm lift 290 duration cams over 11mm lift 290 duration cams

You can easily clearance gt heads over swapping them for boss heads.
If you want to swap heads goto 2015 heads.

13mm 263 duration cams are what Jason has and what I am swapping my comp stage3 cams out for since going turbo

It would cost less to goto comp cams over CJ cams if you are looking at cams that require clearancing.

The comp cams are lighter and more stable I high rpm than the ford cams

Bumping this up for results. I'm working on a coyote swap for my fox body, and remember years ago reading this thread. Since I need want to swap GT intake cams into the F-150 motor anyways, I'm thinking of tracking down a pair of these low lift CJ exhaust cams. Plan is to use the GT intake and exhaust manifold too.

Thoughts?
