We are happy to announce the release of our Mustang Spring Perch Kit with Clutch Assist Spring.

Many customers were breaking their factory perch upon install ... the replacement from Ford is is almost double the price of the perch itself, so here is a more affordable solution:

Is the perch only necessary if you break the stock one? I just got my spring in the mail a couple days ago, and now I see this

It is stronger than the OEM perch - purchased mainly for when you break the OEM perch or if you want to do it all at once.

If it’s not broken - your good.

When removing the OEM spring or installing the Steeda spring, don't put any angular stress on the factory perch and you'll be OK. It's the angular stress that will snap the mounts or the mating shaft.
