Having been down this road before, this is one of the big reasons I stay away from vehicles with sun/moon roofs.

My subaru had 150k miles no problems, truck has barely 60k on it.

It was a pain but got it done, and saved big bucks. If anyone here gets stuck doing it, that metal crossbrace is SHARP, watch yourself.

Truck did well towing the car when the clutch died.

I've also discovered my truck may have been a special order because it is the only 2wd 2.7 I've seen with 3.55 rear gears. That configuration isn't even showing in the Ford towing specs brochure.

Good lookin' truck Ken! I ended up trading my Mustang in on a '16 XLT Screw Sport. I'm loving it.

Have any of y’all replaced your front struts with the bilstein 5100 struts? If so how do you get the factory lower spring seat off the the stock strut?

Have Any of you had to replace your factory HID headlight bulbs? If so, where did you purchase and what brand/type did you use? It seems they are quite expensive.

I have not, but been tempted to do the whole projector retro-fit from TRS. Hearing it's worth swapping out the actual projector. Either way, they seem to be reputable company I'd look at even just for bulbs

I don't have the factory HID, but TRS seem to be well-regarded over on the F150 forum. I did do a couple of mods with my lights - enabled bambi mode through FORSCAN and did the H9 to H11 mod.

I've been kicking around getting a "new to me" 3.5EB crew cab with Max Tow. I bought a little focus last year and I love the fuel economy for plodding along back and forth to work, but my '07 5.4 FX2 3V is getting some real noticeable truck cancer and I hate that. I only tow with it and usually curse it out the whole time. Ol' girl always gets us there and back home though.

Might even consider getting rid of the Focus and the '07 and replacing them with the newer truck.

Looks great! I have Helo 901s in 20x9, very pleased with them.

I love my 3.5EB. Runs like a raped ape, too.

Is their any year 3.5EB to avoid? My plan is quite literally just maintenance, power folding mirrors and proper tires for towing. Maybe a tune, but not an exhaust. Has to stay OE quiet.

The F150 forum has a multitude of threads of things to do on every year 3.5TT, you have to judge how accurate.
