mowed, 13.5 acres. Only 7.5 more to go. Might finish it up today or tomorrow. Putting the FE back in the '67 F100 took longer than I expected and my back was protesting greatly.

Waiting on the HVAC guy to come give an estimate for a replacement system. Our house is trying to kill us.

Finally had the roof replaced from last June's wind/hail storms. Total tally so far = 2-cars & 1-roof fixed...waiting on the deck repair crew to finish my damage hat-trick.

picked up my new (to me) 8'4" finish mower, can't wait to use it!

sunk about 20 wooden fence posts, now I'm ready to hang 1000 feet of no climb wire fence

moved my two post two feet, it was too far back in the bay

plasma'd and repaired a 6' tall 3' wide 18" deep metal storage cabinet that will house fuel cans and oil products, I got $12 in it

bunch of other stuff too, but it was all 6.0 projects, or F100 projects. Twas a busy weekend! This on'e shaping up to be the same.

Finally replaced the milk-crate-full-of-rocks that the old mailbox post was sitting in. The old pole was starting to lean back quite a bit, so a new mounting solution was needed.
We liked being able to move the mailbox since in the winter our Speedy McPlowmaster plow driver likes to take out as many mailboxes as he can after every storm, so we pull it back a few feet to try to keep his score lower.

New mount is still movable, now a painted 5-gallon bucket, a bunch of drain holes in the bottom and along the bottom perimeter, a bunch of rocks and a nice new aromatic ceded mount:
(I transferred the old mailbox and the reflectors from the old mount)

Between the wife and I we got our raised garden beds ready for the new season and she got them planted yesterday.
Gonna have zucchini, tomatoes, peppers, and a few other things growing there.
We also set up a water timer to water the beds every morning through soaker hoses.

Also had to re-do a bit of plumbing in the basement.
The water spigot on the side of the house had gone bad over the winter (it was draining toward the house instead of outward, so it froze and went to shit).
New spigot properly leaning, the inside Shark bite connectors weren't enjoying the new angle, and one of them had developed a small leak.
Ended up using some Pex tubing, cut back the pipe so I can have a longer run of Pex, McGyver'd some fittings that I soldered some connectors to so I could fully engage pipe pieces into the remaining Shark bite fittings, and tested with no leaks.
My first time dealing with Pex, and I'm sold, I love it.
Fuck soldering, I'm done with that shit.

Hmmm interesting on the mailbox, mine looks like garbage and is leaning.. I had tried digging it out when first bought the house but swear they made a rock & cement base for it that could hold up 100 foot flag pole. With your idea I may just cheat and cut it off below ground level and leave the base under there.

One woodchuck in our yard last year turned into 2 woodchucks in our yard this year.
And where there's 2, there's now at least 3.
Well, there WERE at least 3.

Finally put finish on my hardwood floors! Lot of research and dealing with our midwest rep on very cool product. Turn of century technique with modern day technology. Glad this is done. I did the install and helped my flooring guys prep & applied finish.
