Well I found two $2000 Truck Coyotes. One 10 miles away with 100,000 miles on it and the other 100 miles away with 10,000 miles. Reading an article that says the Boss Manifold really works on these guys. Intake cam is high torque so no torque is lost on low end and the Boss manifold will do about the same as any Gen II engine at top end. Just change over the cover, oil pump and add headers and install. It seems the 10,000 mile engine is the best deal. Some yards are trying to sell 250,000 engines for that same $2000 price plus or minus $200. Although most are in the 50,000 mile range.

You have a link to that article?
No but I think I can find it again. They had a stock Truck coyote on a dyno and tested 4 manifolds with no other changes. One was a BOSS 302 Manifold.

I paid $1750 for mine with around 80k. The truck cams are low/mid range optimized and they fall off hard in the higher RPMS. They will not make full use of better flowing manifolds. I saw a FOX swap in a FB group that had a CJ manifold and the truck cams and his numbers were less than impressive. If you want to make use of the extra RPM you need the mustang cams.

I actually found another test under F-150 Coyote Intake test. They used a 2015 Truck Engine and installed a 2015 Mustang intake then the Boss Intake and then the Cobra Jet Intake. They were really impressed with that Boss Intake. Maybe all BS. They were also saying the Truck intake was way different then the Mustang intake. Of course the 2015's have these internal valves in the runners.
