Bumping this up, assuming this same pin can be used to drive an aftermarket tach like a regular autometer tach? No need for a tach adapter?

^ It should provide signal to any device that is designed to use a tach output. Is being used in shift lights, tachometers, etc.

Anybody have a link to the pin type used in these harnesses so I know which one to grab to add it in?

We reuse pins of older harnesses, probably someone around here can send you some over the mail? In extreme case and if you don't mind cutting your harness more and have stuff that's not being used like the rear sensors you could use one of those. In the coyote there are two 70 pin connectors, the bottom one is the right one.

I'm a DIY guy and don't have an older harness. Anyone have a pin they'd like to donate to my cause??

Post a thread in the WTB section, that may help, pretty sure someone may have some pins with it's pigtail around that may help. IIRC. I think Mike(TexasblownV8) may have some.

Can someone explain exactly how to pin this? I am going to be installing my shift light soon and want to do it this way but I have never pinned anything and I can not visualize the process. Any help or pics would be great. This can not be as hard as I think it is.

Hey everyone, I previously had a 2014 Coyote 5.0, but I now have a 2016 Coyote 5.0 and would like to know if the #10 slot on the 70 pin PCM also applies to the 15-17 Gen. 2 Coyote platform?
I made the mistake of buying an Intellitronix Window switch for my Nitrous setup which requires either a direct connection to the tach output on the PCM, or a tach adapter. Thanks everyone DSCN3833_edited.jpg DSCN3820_edited.jpg
