So, what's the final word. I am tired of my 07 seats breaking my back. I have the opportunity to buy some 2015 seats. Muha ha ha ha

Good to hear. Is there anything you can provide me as far as pictures on how you modded the seat mount, or did the electrical diagrams sportin provided work, or tips? :)

I am going to tackle this same thing next. I bought the 2015 front and back seats out of a roush. Man are they comfortable and look way cooler. I scored some door panels off of a 2011 to 2014 gt too.

Edit: just realized yours is newer than 2009 huh. Well i got the seats now. Here's to hoping.

Looks like I'm going to have to bypass the seat module and wire like the 11-14 are shouldn't be to hard just time consuming

jkoogler, could you please elaborate on how you did this? Any pictures at all? I am guessing you had to run some of your own wire if you were short any power wires. I took a power probe a few minutes ago and gathered the info from my 07 below.

I am assuming I will have swap some wires around, etc to get my passenger seat to mate right up and supply power to the right locations. I doubt I will be able to get the heated and cooling portion to work without more research. However, if I can get the 6 way power adjustment to work on the passenger side I'll be stoked. Then I can work on the driver side and likely swap the wiring harness or motors or something.

Connector on 2007 car side/passenger (not a power seat)
#1 no wire
#2 black/blue stripe _ gnd_off / gnd on
#3 black/blue stripe _ gnd_off / gnd on
#4 blue/orange stripe_nothing off / nothing on
#5 tan/red stripe_nothing off / nothing on
#6 no wire
#7 brown/white stripe_nothing off / 3.2v on
#8 no wire
#9 no wire
#10 red/black stripe _ gnd off / 1v and gnd on?
#11 no wire
#12 orange/black stripe_nothing off / nothing on
#13 red/white stripe _ gnd off / 14.4v on
#14 no wire
#15 pink_nothing off / 1.6v on
#16 no wire

Connector on 2007 Car side/driver side (power seat)
#1-7 no wires
#8 black/lt blue_gnd off / gnd on
#9 black_gnd off / gnd on
#10 black/lt blue_gnd off / 1v gnd on
#11 lt green_nothing off / nothing on
#12 green_13v power off / 14.4v on

Any more info on this swap? I picked up a set of 16 Cloth seats that I plan to put into my 05, and the drivers side is power while the passenger side is manual. The passenger side I shouldnt have any issue installing, but I am curious on what I need to do to swap the drivers seat in and make it work like factory. I'm guess I have to swap the bladder from both seats and install into the 15 seats so that those can connect like factory, but I am unsure on how to do everything else.

I got you! lol. Feel free to message me for more particulars. However, the 30k foot view is you need the wiring harness from both of your old seats and transplanted onto your new seats, but you need to keep your wiring harness that comes with your new seats in place too. The old wiring harness allows you to use the seat belt buckle so it communicates correctly and on the passenger seat will allow you to communicate with the seat belt buckle and bladder properly once you swap the sensor from the old seat to the new. I left the bladder in place on the new seat and only swapped the sensor from the old seat.

I was in the same boat as you. My driver seat was powered, but my passenger seat wasn't. So, on the driver seat I confirmed the power wires on the new seat with a 12v battery and verified the polarity. I then cut the two power wires I located on the new seat's main harness connector, spliced it into the two main power wires on the old car's main harness connector. This allowed all other wires for communication to connect to the old seat's harness, but at the same time re-route the power from the car to the new harness of the new seat to allow adjustment. Look above at my previous post to see the pinout for what wires have what. NOTE: the larger two wires for the driver side are the power and ground wires you want for your driver seat. They are thick enough gauge to handle the amps needed to drive the motors especially with a person sitting in them.

As for the passenger side, it has the same connector as the new seats. I spliced into a power circuit that is NOT to be used for power seats as it is does not have the proper gauge to support the power draw. It is actually some accessory power circuit that only supports 10 amps. I used this temporarily just to move the seat a bit until I get a harness from a car that was spec'd with a power passenger seat to run into the main fuse box like factory. To do use power temporarily I used a 25 amp fuse only so it would not blow while testing. DO NOT LEAVE IT LIKE THIS. LOL I am NOT responsible for you burning your car down due it getting hot while you let a passenger use the power buttons on the seat. Get a proper harness and fuse and do it like factory. haha.

I am at work now, so just let me know what info you need and what pictures. I will see what I can do. It may be Saturday before I can get them, but I know the feeling of not getting much info on this.

Sorry I didn’t se any updates from my email telling me to check up on it. I have a 05 mustang that I installed 2011 wiring , motor, interior out of a 11gt500 into mine so I’ve got a lot of different wiring going on. I wired the seats like Anti but I did both sides since I have a 11. For heat and cooling you can just run them off fuses and hard wire to switches and they work fine for me this way.

The door panels were easy I just repinned the window switches to work like factory and I had to retire the locks to work with the new harness but then again I had all wiring harness but had 05 door harness so it may be sloltille different but panels mount about the same I just didn’t use the bottom bolts once you have the door handle bolt and grab handle bolt in they are pretty tight to the door. While it was apart I took a moving pad and cut it to the plastic size and then taped it complete to make it water tight then taped it to the new door panel and man so much less road noise

Well, the guy I bought the panels from is no longer replying to me and he sold them to me missing some important parts and one panel has broken tabs.. trying to resolve that now.
