Hey guys- Does the 2011 up v6 auto transmission have any kind of "sport/manual" mode where i could manually select a gear and keep it in that gear (upshift and downshifting?) Looking to rent one for a track day.
Thanks

2011 and 12 no, 2013 I think can be ordered with "selectshift" that I think does just that.

On all models, gears 1,2,3 will start off in, and stay in the gear selected, however care must be used when manually moving through those gears as there is no stop between them.

Hope this helps

Even if you select 1,2,or 3 the car will still downshift out of 2nd and 3rd if given enough gas so I don't think this is going to work for a track day. Jynx on here has a 2011 auto GT and had to get track specific tunes to lock his car in second gear for autocross track days.

I have the mpt tune in my 11’auto and it definitely locks it into gears.. I don’t think I ever select shifted while stock though

I have no issue reviving old threads if the information being added/question being asked is worthwhile.... but what does /\ that add to a 6 year old thread
