That chute makes it look 2 sec faster for sure!

I agree! Now if I can just get it 2 tenths faster I'd be golden lol

This will help get me there, 4.0 pulley:

Looks like I'll be heading to the track again this weekend for run day Sunday to take another shot at that elusive magical time slip that begins with an 8..should be decent boost weather.

I have a 3.6 coming to try out. Not ready to go full bore on my 3.4 yet. Lol

I have a 3.9 12 rib grooved pulley on there now and only making 18 psi at 6200 on the new setup. I worked out a few bugs today and making pulls tomorrow.

Good luck on that 8.xx tomorrow

Thanks for all the good lucks, however there was no 8.xx time slip yesterday. The weather spiked up into the mid 80's again and kind of killed it for making nice boost. I did manage to make a couple passes, finally got into the 1.3x 60' times with a 1.38 on one of the passes, still had NASTY tire shake on 2 out of the 3 passes, with the 3rd pass being so bad that it shook so violently, that it tripped the inertia switch and killed my fuel pumps putting an end to that pass. It also shook the rear bumper cover loose on one side and the mirror in the drivers door was facing the ground. Ironically my buddy was next to me in his fox body and put it on the bumper 2 times in a row and really messed his car up, I had a front row seat for that! Below is video of that. I also got to try out the chute for the firs time, all I can say is WOW! What a wonderful invention! That makes it so much easier to stop, I LOVE it!

I fought fuel pressure issues the first pass with pressure dropping down as low as 9 psi @ 5800+ rpm, yikes! Manuel had me add more fuel to the tank then that was fixed for the second pass. That time I kissed the rev limiter on the 1-2 shift and it must have hit just right since there was no tire shake and that time it went 9.21 @ 150. My homework before next time is to figure out that damn tire shake issue. Next trip to the track will be on 12/16/2018 for a private rental, hopefully the weather will be better then and I'll try for 8.xx again.

Here's inside my car during the first pass, you can see the tire shake a bit in this video, it was much, much worse on the third pass!

Aren't you concerned about spinning that blower too fast? I know you have ceramic bearings in yours but still, you've got to be spinning that thing way faster than 74k?

How did you do with your pulls the other day?

Congrats on the pass!

Only spinning this BB Stroker to 6500 rpms and no log runs until this afternoon, my laptop went black screen last weekend just as I headed to the garage. I have another one now though.

I ordered some DA LCA's on Black Friday special from Steeda, finally got a chance to install them today.
Pretty solid pieces, hopefully these will stiffen up the rear suspension a bit more to help with the tire shake issue. Heading back to the track next weekend for a private rental event, the weather forecast looks decent so far, we shall see!

It's funny the BMR's actually look beefier. Let us know how the new ones perform.

What's up in here!?

IDK what you're talking about? LOL

1.34 60' Is that decent? (leaving @ 3000rpm 5 lbs boost)

Looks like someone is in the 8's. :)

Who? What?

Wow word spreads fast! Well the day has FINALLY come! I went to the track today for a private event and recorded a couple PB's:

The first hit off the trailer it went 8.90 @ 153mph!!

Second hit it went right and ran out of the grove, lost traction, had to abort to prevent running into the wall..

Third hit it went 8.87 @ 153mph!! 5.68 @ 123 1/8th!! Backed up that 8.90..

FINALLY the 8 second barrier has been breached! Who says 3 valves suck?!?!

The weather wasn't exactly ideal for boost either:

DA was 1500'

Can't wait to go back with good weather in the 50's or 60's..
