Stock Hood Scoop Measurement Please

i have a dent in my hood from a broken blower belt. It’s in a spot where no shop will guarantee the outcome. I’m thinking about covering it with a stock gt scoop bit don’t think it’s going to cover it. I’m looking for the distance from the front edge of the hood to the scoop insert. If someone could throw a tape measure on that it would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked with Exclusive Customs on W Hacienda ? Kyle is fair and honest and the team does excellent work.

All of my paint work has been done by them since moving to the LV area as they have a great reputation and prices are fair.

I am 100% satisfied with the work they do.

24" from front edge of the hood to the front of the hood scoop on an 07 GT. Probably not going to cover damage from a pulley/belt

No, actually that’s good. The leading edge of the dent is 25.5” from the front edge. This might work out perfect. if I can fix the paint on the rest of the hood I will slap one on and call it done.

I will check them out. I’ve had two shops tell me they could fix it but would not guarantee perfect results. The thinness and material of the hood may present issues.
