Like the title says - after hitting the 'submit' button nothing happens to indicate that the reply has been accepted and posted, even though opening the section in a new window shows that it has. Further, the draft in the original window appears to be retained rather than being discarded (refreshing the original window does get you back to the thread proper, but the draft persists).

If you're seeing lots of duplicate and near-duplicate posts and requests to delete same, this is probably why.

On edit, this does not seem to happen when submitting a brand-new thread.

No (I don't even know how to do that second suggestion).

The thing is, I never ever had this problem until XenForo. No matter how many windows I had open at the time, or how much else was open (spreadsheets, documents, pictures, etc.).

It doesn't always happen, but it has been often enough to be annoying.

IE11.

I'm also wondering if when software is tweaked to run better on phones and such that it comes at some cost to performance on computer platforms.
