RIP - You will be missed
If i get one i will keep it stock and probably never get rid of it, I fell in love with it when i test drove one and cannot wait to get one.
Got it.

Actually, there was an '08 Bullitt on my dealership's showroom floor when I was researching my own Mustang purchase. If I had had little or no intention of ever modifying whatever I was about to get, I'd probably be driving it today. But I already had a fairly well-developed mod plan in mind that would have removed too much of its "Bullitt-ness" to bring its corner-carving performances up where I wanted to put them (I was specifically targeting cars offered apparently as turn-key by Steeda, Saleen, and Ford Racing).

People always ask me where I got my car painted. It's very nice for around here - have to qualify, I live in pretty hard core rubberbootville.

Looks completely stock except lowered with wheels. Sounds batshit. You have to remember, when Steve spec'd out the car for the Bullitt movie, they hacked up a stock mustang quite a lot. I believe what I've done to my car has only fortified its spirit, right down to the cool billet roush shifter and cueball.

viva the bullitt! Steve McQueen died from mesothelioma after an experimental surgery in mexico. He asked for some ice chips from the nurse, when she came back he was gone.

It has been a great car, but it is not, or will it ever be, considered rare or collectable. When you are shopping for your Bullitt, dont pay a premium, find a nice lower mileage example, and drive it like you stole it.
BUT, if you are going to want more power(and you will), save yourself the time and hassle, and strongly consider the 07-09 GT500!
