Just picked up a 2008 GT manual coupe with 135k miles. It’s in decent shape but needed some TLC. Shocks, struts, sway bar links and bushings, tie rod ends for sure. I’ve already swapped out all the suspension parts. I also got 7 of the 8 spark plugs changed but I broke one and am waiting on a Lisle tool to be delivered. I was surprised I only broke one. I used Sea Foam Deep Creep and it really worked. The one that broke snapped with almost no torque. These were obviously the originals with over 135k miles.
Even after spending $500 for parts I still have less than $6k into it. It’ll be my commuter so I can keep miles off my Ram CTD.
This is my third mustang. I had a 2000 GT and a 1991 5.0 with a Vortec SC. Both have been long gone from me for years.
Lots of great info here. I look forward to learning and sharing.
