So I bought an 05' GT that didn't run on a gamble . Was told it had mutha thumpr cams in it but the owner didn't know anything about cars and was very short on answers. So I tore it down to find newer looking cams and timing components, quick timing check showed it was two whole links off on both sides and no phaser limiters so I assumed the valves were trashed at minimum. Proceeded to pull the cams off to figure out what they were and they're definitely not comp cams and the markings aren't getting me anywhere on Google. Hoping someone can help identify them so I can get it tuned properly. Somehow the valves are fine, both visually and by leak down testing. I did throw it back together properly timed quick and it runs fine but I didn't drive it. Wv9391-16cc, P298 024, Wv9370-16cc, P300 074, are the markings since it's hard to get good pics . Thanks in advance

I tried the comp master lobe catalogue and I couldn't find lobes with those numbers. Another thing is that Comp usually scribe their data onto the very end of the cam.

I should add that it didn't initially run because someone changed the throttle actuator and somehow got the return spring wedged between the gears. Then it ran but like absolute garbage and threw cam codes.

I was just trying to help with the process of elimination. They aren't marked like bullett cams either. I'd check the crower or crane catalogues and see if you can match the numbers up to any of their lobes.

I know someone on another forum that could measure these if you want to know the actual specs.

Comp finally said they may have made them but they don't have record of it. Strange. Anyhow, I'm taking them to a machine shop to have them measured on a cam doctor so I know what I've got and can go from there. Thanks for the help

So here's what the cam doctor came up with. Looks very mild from the numbers. I haven't had time to try and look anything up yet

My best guess is that it is comp intake lobe 19202 and exhaust lobe 19213. The duration is a few degrees out but with taking manual measurements there is bound to be some error.

The LSA and centerline look way out to lunch. With mod motor cams it is not as easy to determine what would be straight up and down as an average cam in block cam.

Cam Doctor's give you the lobe duration rather than that at the valve. Comp and Bullet give you the at the valve specs.

With that:
at the lobe specs of 209/225, /221", .223"
would be roughly 226/243 deg @.050 with lifts of .400"ish
