Thanks, yes it is. 13.5 acres, about 5-6 in the field in front and the rest is wooded. A small but well kept 1940’s era Craftsman style cottage and a nice pole barn too

Muscadines and blackberries too

Changed the look of the engine cover. Not quite done yet but some vinyl I ordered won't be here until next weekend. After sitting out in the 95 degree heat (with paint drying quicker than I wanted at times) I finally said "good enough". Some of the edges aren't as straight as I wanted but I couldn't sit out there any longer.
The stock engine cover is just 'meh' and makes the underhood a sea of flat black.

Nice, I've been thinking about installing one on my car. Did you put the button in your glove box area?

For some reason I had a factory custom driver's side window switch panel (for a convertible) in my car when I got it. I turned the up function of the extra button for the rear windows that I didn't have into my trunk monkey. I thought it was pretty slick.

I finally got everything sorted out with k&n and me new CAI, I would have never replaced it if it wasn’t for the cracking in the first pic, I have seen too many cylinder walls dusted by sucking in non filtered air(and this intake was obviously for a 05-09 not a ‘10) I ordered my new CAI ON MAY 7 and just today got everything installed kandn had to send me bolts a new air box and lid. I had to get a different tune since I removed the JLT, and it’s still not right I am having an issue with my engine dying intermittently when slowing to turn, I just got the cheap Bama though, I’m gonna have to get a Lito I just know it, which is fine, just not in the
immediate car fund budget, I’m glad I got it installed finally though

Is that just a regular GT badge with adhesive on the back?

I put the SVT wheels back on today.
They have almost-new front Continental DW 285/40/18 tires and almost-new rear 305/40/18 Nitto 555R's on them.
Much better than 6-year-old Eagle F1's and bald 555R's

And every time I put these wheels back on I realize how much I love the look :)

I love the look too, Gabe. Just one question about the 285/40/18's you have up front. Do they rub up against anything at all whenever doing a full lock turn? If not, I'd much rather get my next set of tires as close to stock height of 27" as possible over 275/40/18 which have a diameter of 26.7" Thanks, Rocky

I drove it on some back roads up to the property I’m closing on in two days. I haven’t driven her in 3-4 weeks at least, and it was nice to ride with the windows down

You definitely have some very beautiful scenery driving towards your new location. Also, want to say congrats on your upcoming closing :waytogo:

Thanks Rocky.
No rubbing. I'm running a small spacer, about 5mm, just to give the tire a little more clearance against the strut, but it fits without it.
Not much difference from 26.7 to 27" overall height though. You gotta remember, only half that difference will affect vehicle height, chances are good you'll never notice the difference once installed.

^ I also ran 285/40-18 tires on my 2014 GT. When I pulled the wheels for a tire rotation I saw slight rub marks on the front struts (from hard cornering) but nothing severe.

Gabe, thanks much, bud. I looked into both Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 and Continental ECS. Between them, only the Conti ECS are available in 285/40/18. Knowing that only half the difference will affect vehicle height as you just mentioned, then I just might as well be better off getting the Firehawk Indy 500's in 275/40/18 which are the optimal size tires for the OEM GT500 wheel in 18x9.5" diameter anyhow while also saving over $100 per tire over the Conti ECS in the process :waytogo:

As long as it isn't severe, then it's really nothing to be very concerned about lol. After reading over Gabe's response, I might just as well look into the Firestone Firehawk Indy 500's in 275/40/18 anyhow.

Question: My carbon fiber hood rubs my Ford racing intake. I knew it was touching but I was hoping it would magically fix itself. Now that it hasn't I guess I will look into getting clearance. I love the hood and airflow the vents have to reduce the under hood temps so I don't want to change it. I thought about cutting out the section that is hitting and using fiberglass to stiffen it back up. Will fiberglass adhere to carbon fiber? It is a major strengthening rib for the center of the hood. I don't want to totally "F" it up so I need some advice. Any suggestions?

Today I installed about a half dozen pins that were missing from my front fender liners. I also installed a set of red MGP caliper covers and repaired some old road rash, that I inherited when I bought the car, on a couple of my wheels. All went well except that the caliper cover on the passenger side rear wheel seems to be squeaking. I have an idea about what is wrong and will get into it tomorrow.

Lowered motor mounts? Maybe a new BMR K member with lowered motor mounts? Of course if you get the K member then you also need the matching BMR adjustable A arms for the front suspension.
:clap::banana-mario:

I'm already scraping paint off speed bumps with the cats so I didn't want to lower the motor. I might can loosen up the exhaust flange bolts and roll the pipe to lift the cats back up after I lower the motor. I'll take a look at it.

With the suspension lowered was just another reason against swapping to a high-flow catted mid-pipe, as I was also concerned with clearance issues due to the number of speed bumps we have here in southwestern, PA. So I ran O/R for over the last couple of years and then just recently paired my Mac ProChamber with the stock cats by cutting off the stock midsection and clamping on the ProChamber in its place. I also considered the Magnaflow high-flow catted X, but I'm not really a fan of X-pipes, as I much prefer the classic rumble of an H crossover.

Perhaps by adjusting the hood stops by turning them counterclockwise might be just enough to clear the hood from making contact with the intake

Most of the time it's not a issue because the speed bumps are low enough. When I catch it before hand I can pop the car up quickly and clear it but sometimes I don't catch how high it is.
I can't do the hood stops because it will make the body lines uneven. The hood will be higher than the fenders.
