I ordered this kit about 2 weeks ago and it showed up today, they packed it super well, it was shipped via freight:

I chose this kit as it seemed the most complete and the most straight forward install as I plan to install it myself.

I really liked these covers to give it that 'factory' look.

More updates to follow as I start to get it installed

Why are these garbage it is what came in the kit, if I need to get something else say so so I can order them ASAP.

No the plugs are ok, depending on how many miles you have on the plugs in the engine there could be some wild times getting them out without breaking them in the heads.

Oh the wild times have already taken place.

I replaced them about 20k miles ago and 5 of the 8 broke! of those 5 I was able to remove them with a tool ordered from Amazon, that last one, well that was a mission.

I did anti seize the new ones, but we will see how that goes this time.

OK so install has started, I I got to page 21 (of 33) so far I would say its going pretty good. I am happy to report that all the spark plugs came out just fine this time. I got to the part in the instructions where its time to set the SC in place. I will get to that in the morning.

So here is a photo of the install so far, yes I live in a Condo and I am installing in my Condo parking spot.

99% Done:

I have to go get some Radiator Fluid (for the air to water intercooler and the radiator), wait on the tune from Edlebrock, and order all new inner fender push pins and screws (those things are just kinds buggered up.

I did not lose any sockets or bits (amazing).

I only broke one small bolt - which I will order also.

Kit was pretty ease to install, my only complaint would be they did not tell you you needed a 15/16 socket to install the provided alternator nut (for the new pulley).

Side note - the fuel injectors install so ease compared to my MINI Cooper(s).SuperCharger Installed (1).jpg SuperCharger Installed (2).jpg SuperCharger Installed (3).jpg SuperCharger Installed (4).jpg SuperCharger Installed (5).jpg

I think the most impressive part of this install is that some busybody didn't narc you out for working on your car in a condo parking spot.

I think the most impressive part is that nobody tried to run off with your tools while you had your head down under the hood! ;)

I love how the engine covers make that install look so clean, nearly stock.

Only hate the intake tube. Those shiny things looks like a big slug is trying to escape through the top of the engine bay.

No I live in a VERY secure area, also no one here would know what to do with tools and a toolbox, to give you an idea the State Senator lives in the penthouse of my building. But to add to that at 11 at night, I called it for Saturday night and left all the tools (neatly) right there in the parking garage.

Me too, that did influence my dissension to buy this kit, that and the installation instructions were extremely thorough, and thanx for your comment on it.

I did not like the intake either, but I no longer had the factory intake - that intake is the part of the Stage 2 kit from Edlebrock, funny thing is its actually make by Airaid, I wish it was a hard tub like the Airaid I took off the car.

Congrats on the install. It looks good and enjoy.

Thanx so much

I did have a few look at me funny, as I had a Milwaukee 2500 lumens work light, Milwaukee portable fan and the battery charger for the other Milwaukee tools there plugged in. I might still get a letter, but I am going to tell them I was not doing a REAPIR - I was doing an UPGRADE!
