Hi guys,

Has anyone relocated their SJB to the glove box? If so, can you post up pics / a link?

Thanks!

Just wondering why you want to move it? Is it in the way or something? Seems kinda silly to move it.

Probably water damage fears. They leak down there and can zap it. Was a little dumb to put it near a water channel and low to the floor.

In later years Ford put a rubber flap over the SJB to deflect water drips. Probably a lot easier to fabricate and install a water deflector than moving the entire setup.

I have a little rubber flap / deflector in my 05'. But it does not attach. It merely sits over the front. Wonder why even put it in since water can still drip on the inside of the flap due to it no folding across the top.

The flap in the '05 was simply to prevent electrical shorts from contact with other conductive material. My '14 had a flap that came over the top of the SJB to keep water from dripping on it. My '09 didn't have that flap.

Exactly for this reason!

Got this white rubber flap but as you've stated, it won't stop water from getting to the SJB.

Guess this would be the next best option. Gotta figure out how to get something in there and mounted.

Seems like it would be much easier to keep the drain clear and the water won't flow over and into the cabin.
