Gang,
I ordered a spare set of Hawk HT10's for the front a week ago. They drop ship direct from Hawk but the vendor failed to tell me they wont ship till 7/8 Until after I called them today.assuming they are back ordered...Well I have a two day event on 7/6 and 7/7. do the math (. I'm pissed no one could tell me a week ago.
I only have 1 day (4 runs) on 4 new rotors, new HP plus on the rear and HT10's on the front.

This will be the Pocono Mega course which is very hard on pads so I only expect to get one day out of the fronts for day 1 then will need to swap in a new pair for day 2.
I assume Carbotech XP10's if I can find them.
need a vendor that has the HT10 in stock or Carbo xp10. or another alternative.
I guess i'll start making calls on Monday......

I could use some Help with this one.

Thanks.

I get most of my brake stuff thru them, Dave Zeckhausen knows his stuff, he's the US Stoptech distributor, also has Brembo stuff. He carries Hawk, Ferodo Racing(what I use) and Porterfield pads, may have some others too.

I'll be running at Road America that same weekend.....
Best of luck and be safe out there...

Another alternative would be G-loc's R10.

Of those, SafeRacer and Vorshlag should have what you need, though I think I saw a couple of dealers in MD. Unless SafeRacer was your HT10 source, you could also try them for the Hawks.

All good. HT10's arrived unannounced after being told they would not ship till after my track event.. So in a panic I grabbed some dtc50's. locally. Now I have more pads than I need. good time to experiment with the more aggressive pads I suppose....Pocono this weekend.

Glad to hear it worked out for you. Let us know your thoughts on the different pads.

I'm doing Road America this weekend, first time on track with my '18 and the 6 piston brembos, I'm just going with my stock pads, I know it's going to hurt my times a little but first time with this car so I'll be taking it a bit easy anyway. Best of luck and post some video, I will post some as well.

so far im very happy with Hawk HP plus in the rear and HT10 in the front. good balance. can get away with some street driving no problem. fronts last about 2 to 3 events depending how hard you drive.

I've used the DTC-30 in the front with the HP+ in the rear, that combo worked well on track but the 30's were a bit harder on the rotors. Too much dust and squeal for daily driving. I've also tried the HPS but they did not have enough for track days. The Hawk HPS and HP+ I tried were the older blue box versions, the newer red box are supposed to be better.

I currently use Ferodo Racing DS2500 pads on all 4 corners by recommendation of Dave Zeckhausen and they're the best street/track pad I've used so far. Work great for me on the track and less dust and squeal than the Hawks. I also have to say that the addition of Frozen Rotors Cryo Slotted rotors on the front also made a huge difference in my braking. I've had them for 3 years now and about 10 track days and they literally show no wear.
