Hello and thank you for letting me join your forum. First off sorry for my bad English I'm from Germany. :p
Few years ago I bought an 11 GT and now I want to install some lowering springs and Panhardbar to my stock Suspension. The springs fit 2004-2014 Mustangs but I just figured out that my stock strut mounts are slightly smaller than the spring. So which strut mounts do I need? I took a picture where you can see the difference of the size. Do I need 04-09 stuart mounts? If some one knows can you please send me the link on rockauto? :)20190704_200325.jpg

Thank you for your advise :)

I don't claim to be an expert on this, but my understanding is that which strut mount to use depends on which struts you decide to use. If you use early [ 2005-2010 ] struts then you should use the early mounts. If you use the later [ 2011-2014 ] struts then you should use the later mounts. If you simply want a heavier duty mount, but don't want or need an adjustable mount ie. a castor /camber plate, then the GT 500 mounts would be a good choice. The GT 500 mounts are of the early design and you must use the early struts with them. You didn't say whose springs you're using, but it's entirely possible that some aftermarket springs may not fit as well as the stock spring. In any case I think the springs should fit any 2005-2014 Mustang.

Thank you for your reply. I had the same thought with the struts and it is as you said but I just can not figure out why the spring does not fit. :/ the springs are not just some cheap aftermarket springs they are from H&R from Germany with certificates and stuff... I now ordered some mounts directly from Ford where I can look if they fit.
