66B93754-B696-432D-9FE3-9D76A1DABF99.jpeg Hey guys! Just trying to figure out which axle-backs these are? They were on my 2005 Mustang GT convertible. I found them pretty loud so I went with some MBRP stainless ones instead.
Thanks!
Steve

Yes those appear to be FRPP mufflers, also used on the 08' Bullitt's ..

I think these might be Ford Racing GTA’s after more searching.
Those are indeed Ford Racing GTA mufflers that were manufactured by Supreme Performance. The GTA's were also the OEM mufflers for the 2006-07 Shelby GT-H Hertz edition and 2007-08 limited edition Shelby GT production models. As for being too loud is concerned, the GTA mufflers weren't really that much louder over the stock mufflers, except for providing a throatier and slightly deeper exhaust tone. Unless your running either high-flow cats with LT headers or with an off/road mid-pipe? the GTA mufflers aren't really known for being too loud when the factory Catback exhaust remains in place

I honestly couldn't tell you what they may sell for? All I do know is they were discontinued following the demise of Supreme Performance between 2009-10. Perhaps they could sell for somewhere in the $260.00 price range depending, of course, the condition they happen to be in. At any rate, I'd start there and find out what your best offers end up with

Ya I had them with headers and a Bassani hi-flow X-Pipe and found them loud. The MBRP’s I find just right. My neighbors are probably happier now as well. Lol

Man I ran MBRP's with my headers and catted H pipe and they were loud as hell. Yeah they sounded great but really too loud for daily driving and leaving my house at 6:45 AM. Very surprising to me that these mufflers would be louder than MBRP's.

Ya that’s weird since it essentially what I have. 100% these MBRP’s are a deeper lower tone as compared to the GTA’s I had....specially on cold starts. American Muscle had them rated a 3 out of 5 in the loudness scale which is why I decided on them. These are the MBRP Pro series Axle-Backs that I got.

The Pro series is what I ran too. Still sitting in my garage, it's such a pretty axle back, wish I could run it. Tried it with mid mufflers and then it was too quiet...no happy middle ground, oh well.

You want obnoxious? Lt's, no cats, outlaws in the rear. Pretty darn loud.
