3rd brake light

I’m planning on buying a replacement LED 3rd brake light from AM or another company. A couple of the reviews stated that there is static interference from the radio that occurs when you put your foot on the brake and that installing a resistor would eliminate the issue.
I was wondering if anyone had any hands on experience with these. Any advice is appreciated!

Probably, but instead of buying that cheap-a Chinese junk I just replaced 3rd eye bulb w/ LED. Guess what...no interference.

Thanks for the reply, I’m no electrical guru, but have read that the led possibly caused the static issue. What led bulb do you recommend?

LOL wut? I've got LEDs all over my car and have no radio interference.

They have great products! Swapped out the bulbs in my truck. Looked into changing all my tail lights on my car last week actually!

I purchased some of the DD led map lights for the interior and they are extremely bright. I’m happy with the upgrade and results
