The car show sticker is awesome! I need that

Yeah I'm afraid it will get ripped off in a car wash, since I do touchless washes at work sometimes, but I love it.
The Prius one, meh, don't really care one way or another, just thought it was a great fit near the LOWMPG plate, lol

Question: I’m finally getting time/space/motivation to install my HotRod cams. I also got the FRPP timing kit because I’m at 185K miles.
I’m thinking I should probably replace the cam followers while I’m in there. What about valve springs? I’m probably never going to boost it, but who knows?! Lol
What do y’all think?

Edit: I know the HR cams are NSR, but 185K though...

Man I'm dumb. Was driving to work this morning, felt the car bogging a couple times and it wasn't idling right when I stopped. Left work and got halfway home and it was running like shit, sounded like it was running on 7 cylinders, I'm thinking I lost a coil pack or something....get home and pop the hood and don't even immediately realize that the intake has popped out of the boot at the throttle body. Well, at least it was an easy fix!

Who says you can't get 15,000 miles out of a drag radial, even with roasting them every now and then?
And yes, that's a tire plug on the left, it's been in there for most of the tire's life.

Car's now got mismatched wheels on it, since all these tires have tread, lol

I lied. It's the SCT BA2400 MAF on 90mm housing. I used to have the Lightning 90mm but sold it and forgot I switched them. LOL
Oh ok cool, I actually managed to find a 95mm MAF housing like that from Airaid.

I couldn't make it fit with my airbox so I just chopped the 6" adapter part off and threw my 4" filter on it. Had to get a little tune adjustment for it because of how it starts to open up at the end but the car is running great now. My C&L was 94.5-94.8mm and this plastic one falls into the 95-96mm range.

Got the recall finished for the passenger side airbag in my '13 today.
Hoping that it will stop the barrage of recall notices I keep getting in the mail, haha.
Place did a great job, in and out in about an hour and a half, and no damage to the dash.

Finally had to replace the OEM battery. It went about 6 years so I guess I can’t complain too much. Ended up replacing it with another Motorcraft OEM battery. It was about the same price as other options. I would have bought a Costco battery, but none of the stores near me carries the right size - 2 week order. Boy Sync and the other electronics sure act weird with a failing battery.

I went through a similar experience trying to buy a battery but was unwilling to wait. I took physical measurements of the battery and found a very common size that is almost identical but about a half inch taller. Ended up being cheaper as well. No, I was never concerned about only having 2.75" of clearance to the hood instead of 3.25".

My original battery on my 2014 started leaking acid about 2 years after I bought it. After it ate up the battery blanket I ended up switching to a gel battery.

I was fortunate on my airbag recall. I was standing up an entire network for the dealership that would do my recalls. I just handed them my car while I worked there all day anyway. haha

I still haven't gotten my passenger side bag done. Keep forgetting about it, plus it's a pain since I have to drop it off on the way to work since I can only get it done on a weekday. Wish they would have had the parts available when I got the driver's side done.
