I run mine together, I had a momentary switch on the dash until yesterday. I swapped it out for a regular toggle switch to arm it and now use the off button on my cruise control on the steering wheel

You run a transbrake? Was wondering if I could just run the signal wire to same button as trans brake.

@05stroker I haven't read any absolute confirmation about the stock 4.6 3v flywheel working with the swap. It sounds like it does but there is clearance issues. Do you happen to remember which flywheel you used for your sons car? Or is a stock flywheel would work? I have a circle d 3b 258mm converter as well.

His car has an SFI flexplate on it but it is a 3v flexplate.

Thanks for the offer, sticking with the 6 bolt crank for now. Down the road when i rebuild the motor I'll probably go with a 8 bolt.

Has anyone who upgraded their clutches to exedy friction and steels have issue with all of them not fitting per the exedy instructions? The a hub and c hub I had to use 1 less to be able to get snap ring on and have right clearance.

My first set wasn't the right thickness but the 2nd set went in as instructed. Did you happen to measure the friction and steels?

Ended up purchasing a Hays 12-070 SFI 6-bolt flexplate, it appears to bolt up to my circle d 258mm converter just fine. In case anyone was interested.

Got the transmission swap done! Didn't end up having to use any kind of spacers, the converter spacing was good with the sfi flexplate and circle d 3b converter. I did not get the computer completely wired in. Just have tps, tach and brake lamp to wire in. I was told by lito my pcm (2007+) should have a clear tach output, anyone know where that should be?

Spoke with Lito, he told me pin 25 for a clean tach output. Also spoke with Kevin from us shift regarding the diagram. He referenced me to alldatadiy.com for a specific wiring diagram. Looks like the backup lamp pin is only there for the manual trans (I had an auto car to begin with). I can post the diagrams if anyone is interested
