Holley Sniper EFI Sheet Metal Fabricated Intake Manifold

Let's talk about the Holley Sniper intake manifold install.
In the last week I've installed: Ford racing valve covers, MSD coil packs, holley sniper intake manifold, holley sniper fuel rails, and I changed the spark plugs(none broke thank God).

Valve covers were an easy straightforward install.
Coil packs were easy
Plugs were easy
Now the intake...
Its absolutely beautiful 15/10 on looks. Install was pretty easy and all of the hardware for it was included. 4 vacuum line barb fittings hidden underneath. Fuel injector holes on the driverside were maybe 2cm off, no biggie, holes plenty big enough to not cause an issue. Hardware is pretty decent. Welds look great. Front 2 mounting holes were elongated a little bit. Also you wont need CMCV deletes or spacers because the intake is long enough to compensate. Unless you have a scoop on your hood dont buy this because it will not fit. Its TALL.


NOW for the fuel rails. They look good but design is piss poor. AN -8 fittings are used on all 4 corners(included). A crossover hose is also included.
BUT, the FRPS mounting bracket is pointing down. Your stock vacuum lines wont be long enough. You WILL have to cut the harness apart and pull the FRPS connector back to make it reach the sensor.
What Holley doesnt include is any way to connect your fuel feed line to the rails. You will have to separately buy an AN-8 to male QD fitting and a AN -6 to AN -8 conversion fitting. If you dont have the tool to unhook the stock fuel line QDs then invest in one. You will have to make your own length braided line in AN-8 to connect to your metal fuel line for a feed.


These are the things I wish I would've known before I started this project. Not much input on the new Holley Sniper model like this one.

The manifold itself is awesome and really easy install. Its posted everywhere that hood modifications may be needed. The fuel rails aren't meant for stock applications at all so I cant really fault them on it.

It would be pretty easy for them to include a connector for the FRPS as almost all of these cars still have one, even extremely modified cars. Stuff like that is what I am talking about.

Good info here as a lot of people are using these manifolds. The thing I wish I knew the most was about the FRPS. A few other things to know:
1) As you mentioned, this will sit slightly higher on the engine. I invested in BMR engine block mounts. (Not motor mounts, there is a difference!) These will drop the whole engine as much as 1/2", depending on if you use the provided spacers or not.
2) Some people may need a throttle body spacer depending on your application. (The electronics hit the intake not allowing the TB to seal to the manifold.)
3)A lot of people are using this because it looks badass but in all actuality, to achieve all of its benefits, you will need to spin the engine way higher. That means....wait for it... supporting mods! (Most importantly, springs!)
